When booking with Rickshaw Travel, your money is safe, as Rickshaw Travel Pty Ltd is a fully licensed and bonded tour operator.
We hold the Australian Travel Agency Licence as well as the TFC Travel Compensation Fund Licence. This means that in the unlikely event of our insolvency, any holiday arrangements made with us in conjunction with flights from Australia are 100% protected. In addition we are also members of AFTA, the Australian Federations of Travel Agents.
All air tickets purchased through us include airline failure insurance. This means that if you book your air tickets with us (as opposed to booking with an airline directly), if an airline subsequently goes into administration, you would get your airfare refunded prior to the commencement of your trip. If your trip had already started and the airline you were due to return home with goes out of business, you would be brought home by an alternative carrier.
When you book with us, your contract is with us, not an overseas supplier. We have tour operators liability insurance in place. We are an Australian based and registered company.
