I travel for...

Riding a camel in the India desert

Absolutely everything!

It’s exciting, challenging and rewarding all rolled into one. From meeting people and learning about their way of life, the history behind the people and culture, the varying landscapes and beaches that are so breathtaking it leaves you speechless. Historical buildings and architecture that are just awinspiring. I particularly loved Angkor Wat in Cambodia, the Great Wall of China and the Taj Mahal in India- mind-blowingly spectacular…. photos just do not do it justice.  Every place no matter what size offers something new and different.

Sunny beaches of Ao Nang Thailand

Food glorious food!

I love trying the traditional local food of the country and region that I am travelling, be it Banh Xeo throughout Vietnam, spicy chargrilled field mice (served on a stick like a satay) in Can Tho, a true authentic Pad Thai in Thailand, Momos in Nepal and Aloo tikki in India! …. My stomach is growling just thinking about it.

Local Nepalese men in Bhaktapur Dubar Square Nepal

So many stories to tell...

No matter where my travels take me I have great memories for life and tales to share…. the good, the bad and the ugly I would not change a thing! From train journeys in India and singing on the platforms with people you have just met, partying with the locals at a traditional Vietnamese wedding and sharing photos with the Monks in Cambodia.
